Shirley Robinson was adopted at age 3, and her sister by a beautiful couple. Shirley is a daughter, sister, wife, and pet owner. She is also a skilled chandler. When not at the computer, Shirley enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs and antiquing with her husband. Check out some of her creations here.

Shirley became a tech support person for NHI’s inaugural CTI in 2021 and has continued to contribute to CTI tech support for 15 sessions by 2023. She is also a certified NHA® Practitioner. With over 13 years of experience in Zoom trainings, creating efficient processes, and providing admin/customer service support, Shirley ensures the best user experience.

Nara Derapelian, now an NHA® Kid all grown up. Nara arrived in the US at age 6 after being adopted from Russia and raised by a single mother, much like Shirley. The Nurtured Heart Approach® became a crucial part of her life during her teenage years. With a background in Social Work, Nara has advocated for homeless youth, served as a CASA for those in foster care, and worked as a 911 Dispatcher.

She later shifted her focus, pursuing a degree in Communications and Social Media. Today, Nara runs her own consulting business, utilizing her technical and marketing expertise to support small businesses and non-profits. As a Social Media and Engagement Strategist, she is deeply involved in all aspects related to NHA® Trainers and CTIs, eager to expand support for the Trainer Community at YROS.
